Coach Tiffany Davis-Baer

Tiffany Davis-Baer began cheering at the age of 4, and was a competitive gymnast throughout high school. Her cheer leadership began in 1996 when she was a UCA instructor for 4 years. Her cheer career really blossomed as a Big Ten cheerleader at University of Wisconsin-Madison 1996-1998. She then became a Dance Team member from 1998-2000, she’s known as the first to do both at the University of Wisconsin! Go Badgers! She cheered in 2 Rose Bowls and Rose Bowl Parades, a Copper Bowl, the Outback Bowl and at the NCAA Basketball Semifinals. Tiffany also appeared on Jay Leno during the 2000 Rose Bowl and remembers this as the highlight of those days!!! Tiffany and her husband Rick have 4 children and live in Nocatee with their 3 sons (Aric, Titan, Zane) and a daughter (Maddox). They are her biggest accomplishment and she loves seeing them achieve their goals no matter how hard they may seem at first. Currently, she is the head coach of the Pine Island Academy Dolphins, and has taken great pride in building this program! Tiffany is also the owner of Spirit Squad, LLC, a Nocatee based middle school cheer feeder program, where she believes all children deserve a shot at cheering for their local schools. She loves helping young ladies love the sport and take on leadership roles in the community! Go Dolphins!!

Coach Michelle Burgan

I’m Michelle Burgan born and raised in Kentucky, the epicenter of some of the top cheerleading programs in the country where we take our cheerleading very seriously.  I started gymnastics and cheer when I was 4 years old and cheered both school and all star programs throughout my youth.  Post high school I taught stunt classes and judged cheer competitions and tryouts before finally hanging up my pom poms.

I am a University of Kentucky graduate and spent 15 years working in youth services providing out-of-school time programming and community outreach for Louisville Metro Government and Jefferson County Public Schools.  I am passionate about my community and providing resources to better the lives of the youth and families.

This will be my second year as assistant coach at Pine Island Academy and coaching has provided me with an outlet to combine both my passion for cheerleading and community.
