Support Youth Sports
Since its inception, SJMSAA has offered scholarship funding for eligible students to be able to participate in its youth sports programs. Since 2017 alone, over $51,000 in reduced fees have been offered to young athletes, in each school represented and within each sport offered by SJMSAA.
We know that Keith Martin would work tirelessly to ensure that finances should never stand in the way of a child who wants to play youth sports. Therefore we are committed to further developing our scholarship program in his name, the Keith Martin Scholarship Foundation.
The scholarship program is funded in several ways:
through donations from area businesses, families and organizations.
through portions of funds collected through sponsorship opportunities available to businesses and families.
through portions from registration fees rolled into the overall budget that can be allocated to the fund.
How to apply:
Use the APPLY HERE button to fill out the application form. Please note applications must be filled out using a Google Account.
Your application will be submitted for review. Eligibility for a Keith Martin Scholarship is determined by financial need and reviewed by the Keith Martin Scholarship Foundation review board. Scholarships applications should be made once you have received notice that you have been selected for a roster. Once you have accepted your position and applied for a scholarship, please allow up to 2 weeks for approval.
Once approved, a coupon code will be emailed to the email address provided on the application. Please note that the codes can only be applied to the full season registration price. They cannot be applied to the $25 tryout registration fee - doing so deactivates the code.
