Since its inception, SJMSAA has offered scholarship funding for eligible students to be able to participate in its youth sports programs. Since 2017 alone, over $51,000 in reduced fees have been offered to young athletes, in each school represented and within each sport offered by SJMSAA.

 

We know that Keith Martin would work tirelessly to ensure that finances should never stand in the way of a child who wants to play youth sports. Therefore we are committed to further developing our scholarship program in his name, the Keith Martin Scholarship Foundation.

The scholarship program is funded in several ways:

• through donations from area businesses, families and organizations.

• through portions of funds collected through sponsorship opportunities available to businesses and families.

• through portions from registration fees rolled into the overall budget that can be allocated to the fund.
