ALL-GIRLS Middle School Flag Teams
(6th-8th grade)
Evaluations will take place on October 8th, 2023 at Cornerstone Park from 11 AM - 1 PM. This will be for all who are registered. Student-athletes will be evaluated for their school team and placed on their team after tryouts. Many schools will have more than one team and that is purpose of the evaluation to determine skill level. No one will be cut, everyone will make a school team! SJMSAA is committed to a safe and inclusive program for ALL girls to participate in flag football for their school!

We are still looking for coaches/parent volunteers to help for this season, if you are interested please attend the evaluations. If you are someone who would like to coach but knows little about flag football, we can teach you!

Season Dates
Evaluations
October 8th @ Cornerstone Park from 11 AM to 1 PM
Practices Start
Week of October 9th and many will be held on Wednesday afternoons at a location determined by your coach. Some coaches may have availability outside of Wednesday at another park and will schedule to have practices there.
Game Days
Games will be held on Sundays starting October 22nd with preseason jamboree. Regular season games will begin the following Sunday, October 29th, with all teams playing two games each Sunday. Last regular season games will be on November 19th with a makeup day on November 26th if needed.
Games can be anytime between 11 AM to 6 PM but each team will have their schedule ahead of time and both games will be close to one another (ie. games will not be hours apart).
**We know a number of student-athletes are playing in the Girl Power league that ends in October. We are working with their team to ensure we do not have any overlap of game days for those athletes**

Registration fees for middle school teams cover, refs, fields, jersey, end of season tournament.
