SJMSAA Dance

Get ready to bring the energy and spirit to the sidelines with SJMSAA Sideline Dance! Our program is perfect for dancers who want to perform at school games, enhance their skills, and be part of a fun, team-oriented environment.

This year, we're introducing an optional Competition Dance Team for those who want to take their dancing to the next level!

Evaluations & Auditions – APRIL - MAY 

(will differ by team; look below for more info)

Dancers will be evaluated to determine placement on either the Varsity or JV squad. Additionally, auditions will serve as an opportunity for those interested in joining the optional Competition Dance Team.

📌 IMPORTANT: All dancers MUST register for Dance in order to participate in evaluations

• These evaluations will determine placement for BOTH Sideline Dance and the Competition Dance Team.

• There will NOT be a separate audition for competition. If your dancer is interested in Sideline Dance, Competition Dance, or BOTH, they must register for Sideline Dance to be evaluated.

• If a dancer decides to participate in the Competition Team only and not Sideline, their registration can easily be moved over to the Competition Team once auditions are completed.
   

💡 Why separate registrations?

We recognize that some dancers want to focus only on the sideline portion of the SJMSAA season, while others may also want to compete. By keeping these separate, we can offer flexible registration options, allowing families to choose whether to participate in the competition aspect, which requires additional time, commitment, and cost.

💰 Sideline Dance Costs:

• $35 Evaluation/Audition Fee (covers all expenses to host evaluations)

• $515 Sideline Dance Registration Fee (includes uniforms, gear, and other essentials)
   

📍 Once dancers accept their position on the sideline team, parents can either:
✅ Pay $515 in full OR
✅ Select a 3-month payment plan to split the cost into equal payments
 

💰 Competition Dance Team:

• Registration for the competition team will be separate from sideline registration

• Additional cost & details will be provided after auditions for those interested

• If a dancer chooses to do Competition only, their registration can be transferred to the Competition Team
